Korein Tillery Welcomes David Walchak as Litigation Associate

Korein Tillery LLC is pleased to announce that David Walchak has joined the firm as a litigation associate. David joins the firm’s Chicago office, where he will work on all aspects of the firm’s complex litigation cases.

Prior to joining Korein Tillery, David clerked for Judge Susan L. Carney on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and for Judge Roslynn R. Mauskopf on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Before his clerkships, David worked as a litigation associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson in Los Angeles. David has also authored articles on the subjects of antitrust law and legal ethics in criminal representation.

At Korein Tillery, David will focus his time in the areas of antitrust, securities, and toxic tort litigation. His arrival follows the addition of several partners to the firm, including former federal prosecutor Marc Wallenstein and former Chicago lead appellate counsel Jonathon Byrer.

Managing partner Steve Tillery said, “We look forward to working with David and know that with his stellar academic record and clerkship experience, he will be an invaluable asset to our firm and clients. Adding talented attorneys like David to our team helps us to further our goal of providing top legal counsel to individuals and institutions in seeking justice and advocacy against their adversaries.”

David received his JD from Yale Law School, where he was senior editor of the Yale Law & Policy Review. He received his BA magna cum laude from Amherst College.
