Matthew C. Davies is an attorney in Korein Tillery’s Chicago office. He received his B.A. from Northwestern University in 2002 and his J.D. from New York University in 2009.

Prior to law school, Mr. Davies worked for several years as a paralegal with Korein Tillery. During that time he assisted in prosecuting several high-profile consumer fraud cases and became deeply involved in tobacco litigation. Upon graduating law school, Mr. Davies returned to Korein Tillery to continue working on consumer protection and public health issues.

More recently, Mr. Davies has focused on representing investors in connection with loss mitigation and recovery efforts. He currently represents the National Credit Union Administration Board in several RMBS actions against large investment banks and mortgage loan originators. His work also includes cases based on securities fraud and market manipulation.

Mr. Davies co-chairs Korein Tillery’s media committee and volunteers his time with the Mortgage Foreclosure Project at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
