Jamie Boyer is a partner in Korein Tillery’s St. Louis office with extensive first-chair trial experience in federal and state courts nationwide.  Jamie has successfully represented clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 50 corporations in all types of complex litigation.  Her practice frequently focuses on cases where litigation and public policy intersect, and she has advocated on behalf of individuals, states, industry groups, bar associations, non-profits and companies across the country, often in high-stakes situations. 


Jamie is currently involved in multiple antitrust actions, including a consumer class action against Google for operating Google Play Store and Google Play Billing in a manner that monopolizes the markets for Android-compatible application distribution and in-app payment processing, In re Google Play Consumer Antitrust Litigation, 3:20-CV-05761-JD (N.D. Cal.), as well as a class action filed on behalf of farmers against crop input manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers who engaged in a boycott of electronic sales platforms to maintain unfair prices and market dominance, Piper v. Bayer CropScience LP, 3:21-CV-00021-NJR (S.D. Ill.). Additionally, Jamie is representing a class of minor league baseball players under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and the wage-and-hour laws of several states alleging that MLB and MLB’s member franchises failed to pay the players minimum wage, required overtime pay, or sometimes any wages at all, Senne v. The Office of the Comm’r of Baseball, No. 14-CV-00608-JCS (N.D. Cal.).


Before joining Korein Tillery, Jamie partnered with states in cases challenging public school funding in South Dakota, Washington, New York and New Mexico, which all culminated in multi-week trials involving students, policy experts, economists, academics, legislators, parents, administrators and teachers.  In 2019, Jamie secured a temporary restraining order to keep Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region open when state regulators refused to renew the organization’s operating license. That same year, she tried a month-long bad faith insurance dispute in Las Vegas, Nevada where the plaintiff sought over $50 million in damages and achieved a full defense verdict for her client. 


Jamie is a 2003 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law and is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois, as well as the Eastern and Western District Courts of Missouri, the Central and Southern District Courts of Illinois and the Eighth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal.  Additionally, Jamie has represented clients in New York, Washington, New Mexico, South Dakota, California, New Jersey, Nebraska, Arizona and Nevada.


Jamie has received numerous awards for her work, including selection as a “Top Litigator Under 40” by Benchmark Magazine, a Women’s Justice Award from Missouri Lawyers Weekly and inclusion in Missouri and Kanas Super Lawyers “Rising Star” List. She was a 2013 Fellow to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and is a member and past-president of the Women Lawyers’ Association.


Outside of the courtroom, Jamie serves as a Commissioner on the St. Louis City Affordable Housing Commission, a school board member for The Soulard School and a member of the Missouri Division of Youth Services Advisory Board.
