Mr. Korein was a member of the Committee for Redistricting Federal Court Districts, 1976.  He has been active in the Illinois State Bar Association, as Chairman of the Admiralty Section, and the St. Clair County Bar Association as Chairman of the Medical Legal Committee, the Ethical and Grievance Committee, and the Courts Committee. He is the past president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, St. Louis Southern Illinois Chapter.

Born in Zalaszetgrot, Hungary, Mr. Korein received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Washington University (A.B., 1954; L.L.B., 1956).  He is admitted to the Illinois and Missouri Bars and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; Illinois Trial Lawyers Association; American Board of Trial Advocates; and the St. Clair County, Illinois State, and American Bar Associations.
