In January, 2008 the Court granted final approval of a settlement which provides complete relief by requiring Sears to install anti-tip brackets for the class as well as requiring the installation of such brackets in the future. The settlement is valued at more than $544,500,000. Finally, Mr Libra has been involved in the settlement of personal injury and other civil cases in the state and federal courts.
